Plantronics Voyager™ 855

I've been extremely busy in the past weeks. Imagine if you have to work for 60 hours per 7 days. There is one thing come together with those life-killing tasks, phone calls. I admit I 've never used up my N73 battery until these days. So I bought a bluetooth headset to relief my brain and my ears burden. Let's take a look at my criteria.
  • Good sound quality on both end
  • Wearing without ear-snap [ My mom said it makes bluetooth look like a Cockroach snap on your ear ]
  • Be able to play Stereo Music
  • Be able to charge via USB
There're few interesting models from Jabra and Sony but I don't like them. So Plantronics 855 was my pick.

Official Site

What's inside the package ?
  • Bluetooth Headset
  • Stereo Headset
  • 4 pairs of ear bud [ Small, Medium, Large, Music ]
  • Wall Charger
  • Ear loop stabilizer x 2
Comment : USB Charger is not in the package. But it 's not hard to buy one.

After a week of usage , here are good and bad
Good - The sound quality is right on. Music control is nice. It's as good as they claimed 'One headset - Call&Music'
Bad - I don't know why .. but once I walk too far from da phone, the connection lost. The problem happen when I get back to the phone, it's not automatically reconnect. The document said headset will try to reconnect to the phone once after connection lost for 30 seconds and user has to press a button to manually reconnect if they want to do it after that 30 second rule. However, it not 100% working .. I've to turn the headset on and off to have them paired again.

Conclusion : 8/10

I think that top headsets have the different features. Ex. JawboneII is good at noise-canceling, Plantronics Voyager 855 can be converted to mono or stereo.
