Winter is ON !

I'm glad our beloved Thailand has winter once again. There are many activities I'll only do in winter season. For example, go shopping @ Jatujak. I should go within few weeks from now.

BTW, This is the first time I wear the black suit. Weird .. but everyone does.. so I have to get used to.

Michael Clayton [The Truth Can Be Adjusted]

The movie remind me of something fusion between 'The Negotiator' and 'Phonebooth' . The plot similar to the first and the emotion-stress just like the latter. Another recommended movie from me :)

Chicago Bulls

There's one NBA story writer I really like. His name is "Eddie Johnson", he is an ex-NBA player who played about 15 seasons in NBA and few years oversea. His latest article is about "Chicago Bulls". Well, I think most of you know you-know-who. Michael Jordan led the Bulls to 6 Championships in 8 years ( 2 of them, MJ went to play baseball otherwise it would have been 8 ). But that's 10 years ago and now the Bulls in post-MJ era. A lot of people expected to see rejuvenated Bulls everyday ..

However, the Bulls are struggle. There's rumor about the Bulls trade for "Kobe Bryant" ( 3 Rings with LA. Lakers and considered the best basketball player in this planet right now) and after 6 games, they have the record of 1-5 . So, Eddie Johnson has something to say here.

The Elder Scrolls IV : Oblivion

Finally... after long waiting, I 've a computer that actually can run the game !
It has been 18 months since the game was released. Back then there's no chance to play the game at acceptable quality. Let's see how long will I take to close down all oblivion gates :)

Ubuntu Club Distro

ไม่ได้เขียนเกี่ยวกับ Ubuntu มาซะนาน ช่วงนี้มีโอกาสได้กลับมาใช้ Linux อีก เนื่องจากโปรเจคที่ทำมี OS Based เป็น Linux ล้วนๆเลย ตอนนี้ Ubuntu ได้ออก Version ใหม่แล้ว ชื่อว่า Gusty Gibbon หรือ Version 7.10 มีการปรับปรุงความสามารถไปเยอะมากๆ แต่สิ่งที่จะกล่าวถึงวันนี้คือ Ubuntu Club Distro

Ubuntu Club Distro ที่ว่านี่ก็คือ การนำ Ubuntu ที่เป็น official release มา Mod เป็น Version ของตัวเอง โดยที่เพิ่มความสามารถเกี่ยวกับภาษาไทยและ Multimedia ลงไปเลย สามารถ download ได้ที่ http://files.ubuntuclub.com/DistroClub/LastTest/ โดย E หมายถึงเมนูภาษาอังกฤษส่วน T ก็หมายถึงเมนูภาษาไทย

หลังจากลอง download มาลงใน VMware พบว่าเค้าทำได้ดีมาก ภาษาไทยสวยงาม แล้ว ดูหนังพวก DivX , WMV , MP4 ได้เลย โดยที่ไม่ต้องทำอะไรเพิ่ม ใครสนใจก็เชิญลองได้ แล้วจะติดใจ เกือบลืมบอกว่า ที่โพสนี่ก็เขียนผ่าน Ubuntu นะ :)

Logitech G7 Double Click Problem

ช่วงอาทิตย์ที่ผ่านมา เม้าส์ G7 คู่ใจเริ่มมีอาการแปลกๆ คือ กดทีเดียว แต่มันคลิ๊กให้สองที ประมาณ 10 % ของการใช้ ก็น่ารำคาญ แต่ไม่มากนัก วันนี้เลยลองเข้าไปหาดูว่ามีใครมีปัญหานี้หรือเปล่า ผลปรากฎว่ามีคนเจอจำนวนมาก และ Logitech ทำการเปลี่ยนเม้าส์ตัวใหม่ให้ลูกค้าโดยดี ( แถมไม่เอาตัวเก่าคืนซะอีก) ทำให้เข้าใจได้ว่าเป็น known problem และที่แย่คือมันต้องเป็น unsolved problem แน่ๆ ไม่งั้น Logitech จะยอมเปลี่ยนให้ง่ายๆได้ไง

อีกอย่างที่ยิ่งทำให้แน่ใจคือ G7 ได้หายไปจาก Product Page ของ Logitech เรียบร้อยแล้ว .. ไม่น่าเชื่อแต่ก็ต้องเชื่อ ว่าสินค้าที่โฆษณาเป็นล่ำเป็นสัน เป็นตัวชูโรงของบริษัทจะโดนถอดออกง่ายๆ แสดงว่าปัญหานี้คงยังแก้ไม่ได้ แม้ในสินค้ารุ่นใหม่ๆ ..

สรุปแล้วก็คงต้องทำใจยอมรับ พร้อมกับมองหาเม้าส์ตัวใหม่ได้แล้ว จริงๆ MX510 ที่ใช้อยู่อีกตัว ก็ดีมากๆ แม้ว่าจะเก่าแล้วแต่ไม่เคยสร้างปัญหาเลย บางทีอาจจะซื้อ Mx510 หรือ Mx518 หรือ G5 .. ขอจัดสรรงบประมาณก่อน :(

New Computer

ช่วงนี้คอมที่บ้านเกิดอาการรวน คือเครื่องจะดับเองบ่อยมากๆ หลังๆเป็นหนักจนถึงขนาดบูตเสร็จปุ๊บดับเลย ที่นี้ก็เลยบอกท่านแม่ว่าซื้อใหม่เถอะ คอมเครื่องนี้มันก็หลายปีแล้ว สมควรแก่เวลา ท่านแม่ก็โอเค ไปซื้อมาก็แล้วกัน เดี๋ยวออกเงินให้ ดังนั้น วันอาทิตย์ที่ผ่านมา ก็เลยไปพันทิพย์ ซื้อมาได้ดังนี้

ประกอบเรียบร้อย พอเอากลับมาถึงบ้าน เปิดไม่ติดซะอย่างงั้น หาอยู่นานว่าทำไม สุดท้ายก็พิสูจน์ได้ว่าเครื่องเสีย วันนี้เลยต้องยกไปให้ร้านแก้ไข เปลี่ยน mainboard เสร็จก็ใช้ได้

จากนั้น เราก็รับมรดก เครื่องเก่าที่รวนๆ มาใช้ต่อ ... เอามาลง Linux เล่นดีกว่า :)
